In Beijing, at the Great Hall of the People, a meeting took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Han Zheng. This is reported by the Government press service.
"Han Zheng welcomed Prime Minister Pashinyan's visit to the PRC and his participation in the SCO summit and the parade held in Beijing. He noted that the result of the effective meeting between the Prime Minister of the RA and the President of the PRC, Xi Jinping, is the establishment of a strategic partnership between Armenia and China, which will contribute to the development and expansion of cooperation in all spheres.
Han Zheng noted in his speech that China greatly values the establishment of a strategic partnership with Armenia, and in this regard, the Prime Minister's visit is of key importance.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked for the invitation and the warm reception, stressing that the working visit to China is of great importance for Armenia.
The Prime Minister noted that as a result of the visit, relations between Armenia and China have been raised to the level of a strategic partnership, which creates new opportunities for further deepening and expanding ties.
He also noted that in recent years, cooperation has been developing in the political, economic, and cultural spheres, and the ties between the peoples are being strengthened.
According to the Prime Minister, the two peoples have great sympathy for each other, which is a solid foundation for the promotion of comprehensive cooperation.
The interlocutors exchanged views on a number of issues of international importance and expressed confidence that in the near future, Armenia-China cooperation will develop both at the bilateral level and on multilateral platforms," the message states.
